I'm pretty gifted athletically. I chose not to pursue any athletics in college to focus on school. But I can pick up any sport I try and become good quickly. This characteristic is also shared by my two brothers. Also, I have a really good memory. It's helped me a lot in school.
-
What is the one change you wish to see in the world?
I'd love to see everybody have more empathy for people who don't come from similar backgrounds. I think a lot of the hate in this world is driven by fear of the unknown. I believe much of the animosity in the world stems from a fear of the unknown, making people hesitant to step out of their comfort zones and engage with those who differ from them. In my belief, as individuals forge connections with people from diverse backgrounds, they are likely to discover commonalities and approach the world with greater kindness and love.
-

My perseverance. I'm able to face setbacks, adapt as needed, and continue moving forward. It's benefitted me throughout my life in school, sports, professional endeavors, and in my personal life.

Describe your own personality to us
Since I was a kid, I've had a strong sense of who I was and my personality hasn't changed much. I'm very social and get my energy from being around other people. I don't find it hard to walk into a room full of strangers and make friends. Because I'm focused and organized, I do very well balancing many obligations at once. During college, I would take 20+ credits and work 3-4 part time jobs, while still making time to hangout with friends and give back to the community through volunteering. I am the kind of person who will start on an assignment right when I get it and never procrastinate. I love to push myself outside my comfort zone, whether that's taking a hard class, traveling alone to new countries, or going sky diving. I am driven by empathy and a deep sense of fairness and justice. For example, I was always the kid to fight with the referee in soccer about an unfair call or defend schoolmates from a bully. As I've gotten older, it's led me to dedicate a lot of my life to volunteering and participating in social causes.

What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
Ever since I was a kid, adults would tell me "you'd make a great lawyer." They didn't mean it in a good way. I was outspoken, stubborn, and had a penchant for arguing, particularly when I perceived injustice. As I grew older, I redirected this energy towards advocating for social causes. In high school, I challenged a discriminatory dress code policy targeting women and disrupting their education. We started a campaign to change it and got lots of student support. When we finally got a meeting with school board officials, they refused to alter it, highlighting the evident power imbalance between students and those in charge. This experience left us feeling defeated and helpless. As I learned about injustices that marginalized groups faced, it became apparent that power imbalances were inherent in most of these situations. Recognizing the potential of the law and lawyers to address and rectify these disparities, I made the decision to attend law school with the goal of providing a voice to those often overlooked in the legal system.

If you could tell the intended parents who are considering you one thing, what would it be?
I understand that this process hasn't been a swift or easy one, and I commend your commitment. I sincerely hope that this egg donation proves successful for you and your family, and that by next year, you'll be joyfully holding your baby in your arms. I wish you and your family nothing but the best and success. If you chose me to be your egg donor, I will always be willing to donate in the future if you decide on an additional child to add to your soon-to-be one!
