Why do you want to become an egg donor?
I’ve decided not to experience pregnancy and raise a child from birth to adulthood myself. I am content supporting my partner’s children and running a kids' business, but I still feel a natural urge to contribute to life in some way. Becoming an egg donor resolves this conflict, allowing me to fulfill that desire, whether or not I ever meet the child.I also find immense happiness in helping others. Just as donating blood gives me a sense of purpose knowing I’ve helped someone in need, egg donation provides a similar satisfaction. The process is minimally invasive and doesn’t have a long-term impact on me, unlike donating an organ. The temporary discomfort is worth it to change someone’s life and help create a new one without negatively affecting mine. For me, this act of generosity is deeply fulfilling.

What is the one change you wish to see in the world?
One thing I’d love to see change in the world is a stronger emphasis on empathy and understanding in everyday interactions. I think many of the problems we face, such as conflicts, inequality, and even misinformation, could be mitigated if people made a conscious effort to see things from others’ perspectives. Building a more compassionate, connected society starts with individuals choosing to listen without judgment, to offer kindness where it’s needed, and to acknowledge the shared humanity in everyone they meet. That shift in how we treat one another could ripple out and create a more peaceful, equitable world.
-
What would you consider to your greatest strengths?
I consider my greatest strength to be my ability to think critically and approach problems from a data-driven perspective. This mindset helps me navigate uncertainty, weigh options carefully, and contribute meaningful insights to any situation.

What is a book you love?
Daring Greatly is my favorite book because it genuinely transformed how I view vulnerability and courage. Brené Brown’s insights helped me see that allowing myself to be open and authentic, even when it’s uncomfortable, is one of the most powerful ways to grow. Her approach is both deeply personal and research-backed, which makes it feel both relatable and credible. The book inspires me to show up fully in my relationships, take meaningful risks, and embrace imperfections instead of hiding from them. Every time I revisit its pages, I discover new insights that motivate me to live more wholeheartedly.

What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
The moment that pushed me toward studying law happened during a government class in high school. We had a mock trial as part of our curriculum, and I was assigned to play the role of the defense attorney. I remember diving into the case details, carefully crafting my arguments, and even practicing my opening and closing statements in front of the mirror. When we finally presented our case, I realized how much I enjoyed the process; not just the debate, but the challenge of thinking critically, analyzing facts, and constructing a compelling narrative. What really stood out to me, though, was the sense of purpose I felt. Even though it was just an exercise, I liked knowing that I was fighting for something, advocating for someone’s side, and exploring how the law could be used to create fairness. That experience made me realize I wanted to pursue a path in law.
