Why do you want to become an egg donor?
For me, becoming a egg donor is more than an act of donation (which itself would already be a beatiful act) because it is an opening door for a new life, for a new phase for beatiful couples and love stories and a new possibility for this planet earth. At this stage of my life, I don't see myself having a child, but I love every sinlge one as if they were mine, so, when I realized the possibility of being able to help couples to achieve this goal in their life, becoming an egg donor, it was simply magical to me, I was sure I wanted to be part of this dream and make it become true.

Anything special you'd like to tell us about you?
I am a very delicated, focused, responsible and charismatic girl, I love reading different kinds of books, I love studying, watching documentaries and debating about interesting subjects. I choosed to study Law because I appreciate debates, economics, being updated with the news and, mostly, because I wish to work for a more just and peaceful world. My short-term goal is to do a master degree in International Relations, Human Rights and Sustainability in Europe or US, which I am already applying for scholarships, since, so far, I can't afford it. My long-term goal is to work in a government department to be able to bring up different ideas about how to solve my country's/world's problems. Also, in terms of personality, I see myself as a very active person, full of energy and hope from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to bed, that wants to discover the world, that loves to travel and that wish to go for different adventures in life. In 2018, I decided to leave my country, my family, my friends and my culture behind to go for a new adventure in a different country, with a different language and different peolpe. I decided to go to Canada to study, work and live by myself for one year. That, in my view, was a big challenge that I faced with pleasure and happiness, because I knew I as growing as a person each day.

Who are the most important people in your life?
The most importat people in my life are the memebers of my family (my mom, my dad, my sister, my grands, my cousins, my aunts and my uncles) and also my friends, that I know since I was a kid, so I can trust and I can count on them as if they were my family also.
-
What are your special talents?
I love doing sports. Since I was a kid, I have always looked for different kinds of sport to be involved with. I spent 10 years of my life doing gymnastic and competing representing my school. Besides that, I was also part of the volleyball team, swimming team, handball team and basketball team in my school. Also, I have ever had a critical thinking and a good public speaking, always enjoying to do speaches and to participate in different competitions. Plus, as a student, I was always good in human science, taking very good grades and participating of every class. In terms of personality, I can consider as a talent my ability of being so comprehensive and compassive with people. All the time I want to make sure I am doing my best for everyones well being and that I am being a good company. I have never enjoyed being in competition to others, having discussions and arguments or trying to be better than someone else. So, to sum up, I consider myself as a very sweet person, that is always trying to do her best, to be a better person every day and that dreams to be part of a better world’s construction.

Equality of gender, opportunities, income, education and Human Rights.

What would you consider to your greatest strengths?
My greatest strength is to be courageous, because I am not afraid of leaving my confort zone and following my heart and what I feel is right for me at the moment. Also, I am a very sensible person that is always putting myself in other shoes. Besides that, I am a very dedicated and responsible girl, that takes very serious everything that I am responsible for, either my goals in life or my tasks at my jobs. To conclude, I am also very optimistic and success-oriented, having in mind what I clearly want for my life, knowing that following my heart is the key to get there, and always being hopeful that these dreams will became true.
-
What is your favorite dish to consume?
My grandmom's sweet potato puree.
-
What is something you've accomplished in life that you are most proud of?
To achieve my financial independence. To get there, it was not an easy path, I had to go through different challenges as living in a different country, working with people that speak a different language, facing a weather that I have never faced before (-20 degrees in Canada) and going through suffering situations as well. After that, when I came back to my country it was also not easy, because I had to look for a job in a country that has a hight level of unemployment, making things harder. Finally, a goal that I am close to accomplish and I am already proud of is being able to do my master's abroad.

What is a book you love?
A book that I love is "Many lives, Many masters" by Brian Weiss, because it opened my eyes to believe that there is "something more" than just the material world in this life. It made me start believing and being more interested in God, Spirituality and in this one energy that moves and connects human beings with nature. Also, it made me start believing that nothing happens without a bigger purpouse behind.
-
How would other people describe you?
Sweet, smart, intelectual, interested, charismatical, responsible and optimistic girl.
-
Describe your own personality to us
I am a very active person, I need to feel that I am being productive all the time, either for myself like taking care of my body, doing sports, eating healthy food and learning new things or to others like working and helping people out. As I said before, I don't like being in my confort zone, so I am always looking for new challenges that can make me become a better human being, for example, studying a different course, living abroad to meet new cultures and learn with it or to be part of new projects, for example, becoming part of the arbitration team in my University or being part of study groups. Besides that, I am a very analytical person, since all the time I observing my feelings and emotions behind every situation to figure out what path is my heart calling me to take. Also, I consider my self as a very interesting girl, since I was always told I am a fun-loving person with a good sense humor, and positive nature, friendly and pure.
-
Who are you closest to in your family and why?
My younger cousin, because she is my confident. Her way of advising me and supporting me is unique between everyone I know. She is able to, easily, put herself in my shoes and be comprehensive. Nevertheless, because of our intimacy, she is also able to be very honest to me and let me know about her true opinion, being straight and without any concern that I am going to be disappoint so she should say what I wanna hear.
-
What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
To be honest, there wasn't a defining moment. To choose the path I wanted to follow was a big process in my life. What I knew was that I wanted to do something big, to help people that most needed it and to be able to make big changes the world. This way, I was always involved in different activities in my school to see if that could help me to clarify my ideas of what path to take. So, I ended up choosing to study law because I saw that as a course that could help me to open doors as acting in a government department.

If you could tell the intended parents who are considering you one thing, what would it be?
Firstly, I would tell them that what they are doing is a beatiful, courageous and lovely act. Looking forward to achieving their dreams bringing a new life to this planet and choosing to abdicate their energy and time to raise a child is a big step in life. I would also tell them I am very proud of them for being so strong and choosing the Egg donation, which, for sure, was not an easy choice, that shows that, if they made it, it is because they really want and feel that this is their moment, that this is their dream and that this is the path their heart is showing them to take.
-
Places you'd love to travel
I would love to visit India, because it is the country with more sacrated places in the world and that I feel I could have a big self-transformation. Also, I have never been to Europe and I feel that over there would be the best place for me to go to complete my studies in International Relations, Human Rights and Sustainability. Besides that, a country that interested me a lot is Japan, since it is a very developed place, with advanced technology and a very different culture comparing to mine.
