Books you are currently reading
Growing up I enjoyed reading on a very high level however at this time I am not currently reading a book. I have taken a recent interest in the Bible and peeking in here and there to learn more about it. I did not grow up religious which takes a sudden interest in what’s inside. Other than that, I read children books to my boys :)
-
Who are you closest to in your family and why?
My older sister. We have became closer over the years especially since having my two boys. She also delivered my second son by herself on my living room floor. She is always supportive and calls to talk to them daily. We always seek one another’s advice and can trust it’s one to follow.
-
What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
I have always enjoyed law. I was lucky to get the job offer for this firm and grow greatly within the firm. I hope to be able to switch the type of law later down the road to criminal law.

If you could tell the intended parents who are considering you one thing, what would it be?
Having children has been my greatest adventure and greatest accomplishment. Having my kids playing together and running to tackle me down ... watching them learn new words and do the cutest things. Showing them all of the city and going to all the events or museums possible... it’s all a huge ride and well deserving. All the special moments I’ve encountered.. those same moments I look forward to for you.

Places you'd love to travel
I go on at least two or three trips a year. I have definitely seen a lot already. Somewhere I haven’t been and would love to be at... Maldives. I normally go places where the adventure is and really get out of my comfort zone however Maldives is so beautiful and a great place to get off the map and just relax.

Impressions from Elevate
Message from the donor: I wanted to give you a little more about me, what I do, and how I got to where I am. I'm sure it will be beneficial in some way to the intended parents :) I grew up on a farm in a small town of Iola, Kansas. Golf-carting, go-karting, and four wheeling were the things my sisters and myself really enjoyed doing along with fishing at our lake. Growing up I remember loving to read books, having sleep-overs with my friends, and mowing the lawn. I was far from a farmer but definitely enjoyed the outdoors and still do! My mother and father had gone their separate ways during my teen years causing me to follow my Mom to Joplin, MO as she pursued her medical career as a Surgical Technician. Although my parents separated...we still to this day are very close and communicate daily.I spent about a year in Joplin for school and then onto Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, MO for roughly a year and a half. I grew largely there mentally and physically. A whole different routine, different environment, and working out every day. I advanced onto Sergeant/Squad Leader rather quickly. There was a Tornado that had wiped out Joplin so I left the school and moved to Kansas City with my Mom where we spent the rest of my highschool days out. I did attend Johnson County Community College however did not obtain my associates degree. I do plan to go back to school and obtain a degree in Criminal Justice. Throughout high school I was a server at The Cheesecake Factory. I then spent about 9 months in North Hollywood maintaining the same job and returned to Kansas City for the position at my law office. I started out as a Legal Assistant and didn't stop there. I advanced to the Client Services department within two months of employment and gaining a multitude of knowledge. I then was offered the position of Director of Client Services overlooking four employees. I am currently the liaison to and from the firm for all clients. My firm is a collections firm. My actual tasks... For example: You owe Bank of America on your credit card and unfortunately stopped paying. BOA then sends me your account, I load you into our database ensuring all documents are available and file suit against you in a timely manner. After suit, we will serve you, take judgment, and garnish your wages or bank account. I over see the entire process by communicating daily, weekly, and monthly of each individuals' file progress via email, excel, etc. I do many other tasks such as auditing and also travel for conferences representing the firm. After having my two boys, I moved to Atlanta, GA and transitioned into being a full time remote employee. After reading all this, you can see why I love the outdoors and traveling so much. Why I am disciplined, strong, and so dependable. Working for my firm remotely all while juggling being a single parent and making time to see the world is a handful but it's worth it! As a mom myself, I would want to know everything about a potential donor so I tried to share everything I could. I had a really great childhood filled with tons of memories and I hope your kids are able to endure the same.
