Why do you want to become an egg donor?
I would love to become an egg donor because I believe that I was born to have children. I am so excited to have children one day, and I want to share that with others who cannot experience that. Sometimes people are put into tough situations and I would like to help them make the best of it.

Anything special you'd like to tell us about you?
One thing that is special about me is how hard-working I am. Everything that I have wanted and want in life I have had to work for myself. I bought a car when I was 17 all on my own because I have had a job since I was 14. I am able to be in college and take out hardly any loans because of my saving ability. When I put my mind to it, I believe that I am unstoppable!

Are you currently working? If so where and in what capacity?
I currently have three jobs. When I am at school at Western Carolina I work as an intern at The North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching. I have been working there since the fall semester of my freshman year. When I go back home to NC, I work at Bright Horizons Daycare as part of the support staff. I have been working there for a year and I was an intern before I got a job there. I also work at Chick-fil-A when I am at home in NC. I have been working at Chick-fil-A for almost 5 years.

Who are the most important people in your life?
The most important people in my life are my parents. My parents have raised me to be the independent young women that I am today. I have been able to do things on my own at the start of an early age all because I got the opportunity to from my parents. Growing up in a family of 6, my parents knew how to deal with kids. This made my parents a very important factor of my life. My parents got divorced when I was 5, and so now I am able to say I have 4 loving and supportive parents and I couldn't be more thankful for that.
-
What are your special talents?
One special talent that I have is the ability to stay organized. I pride myself on how organized I am. I have a paper calendar, digital calendar, and a white board calendar. My personal space is hardly-never messy or out of order. The first thing that I do when I wake up in the morning is make my bed. I also have always been organized when it comes to school materials. I have turned in an assignment late maybe once or twice in my whole education journey. I have never called out of a shift at work either in 5+ years of working.

What is the one change you wish to see in the world?
One change that I wish to see in the world is less poverty and homelessness. I always get so sad when I am driving around my hometown and I see so many people that don't have a place to go to at night. If I could get rid of all homeless people and people in poverty I would do it in a heartbeat.
-
What would you consider to your greatest strengths?
I would consider my greatest strengths to be my organization, communication, and empathy skills. I have always been super organized and I take pride in that. I also was raised to communicate well with my peers and mentors, and I can have effective conversation with everyone. I am very empathetic towards other people. I feel as if I am in their shoes and I can help them by talking and understanding their emotions.
-
What is your favorite dish to consume?
My favorite dish to consume would be crab legs. I believe that I like this food so much because crab legs are something that I do not get often, so it always makes them 10x better when I am able to have them.

What is something you've accomplished in life that you are most proud of?
So far in life one thing that I have accomplished was hiking 25.5 miles in one day for the non-profit Make-A-Wish. I have been volunteering with MAW since 2016 and in 2023 I decided to hike for their event called Trailblaze. This was such a great day even though physically I felt like I was dying. I had to raise $2,500 and this was also challenging, but in the end I did it. I will definitely be volunteering again this year, and I know that in a year or two I will be ready to hike once again.

What is a book you love?
The book that I have read the most recently and loved the most is Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover. I really loved reading this book because it told a story of a mother who tried everything to get her child back. It shows what true love is like, and the ways that a mother should treat a child.

How would other people describe you?
Other people describe me as funny, open, and passionate.
-
Describe your own personality to us
I would describe my personality as passionate and dependable. I get deeply invested into things that mean a lot to me and oftentimes this is a good thing. I also know that I am dependable because if someone I love needs something, I will do whatever I can to be there for them.

Books you are currently reading
I am currently reading She Explores. I got my mom and I this book because we both enjoy hiking and this book talks about hiking a lot in it.

Who are you closest to in your family and why?
In my family, I am closest to my step sister. We both worked at Chick-fil-A together and this brought us so close together. We are the youngest of 6 kids with my dad and step moms side of the family. I often forget that she is only my step sister because I am so close to her. We both decided to go to Western Carolina and I am forever grateful that I am able to spend these next few years with her before we both go our own way.
-
What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
Since I could talk I knew I wanted to be a teacher. Every-time anyone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would always say "I want to be a teacher." The moment that I constantly find myself coming back to is in 5th grade during most recesses. I would spend my time helping my friend Janelle with her math work because she would often struggle with it. This was very empowering for me because I felt so happy that I was able to help her learn something new.

If you could tell the intended parents who are considering you one thing, what would it be?
If I could tell the intended parents one thing it would be that I hope they get the most out of this experience. I wish that all of the parents dreams come true, and they get everything they want out of a child. One additional thing that I would tell the parents is that not matter what happens they will get through it and they are amazing.
-
Places you'd love to travel
When I was young I would always want to travel to NYC. I got the chance to do that last year twice and it was so much fun. Currently the place that I would want to travel to the most is anywhere in Greece.

What are your favorite words to live by?
One of my favorite words ever to live by is the saying "Everything happens for a reason." There are some situations where this might not be true, but when I believe in these words it often helps me succeed and do well in everyday life.
