Why do you want to become an egg donor?
I am interested in becoming an egg donor because I think every woman deserves the opportunity to raise a family. Women who are unable to have children often face many mental and physical struggles; my mom was one of those women. She went through multiple surgeries and treatments to regain her fertility after narrowly surviving a compound chemical allergic reaction that caused her to be infertile when she was in her 30s. She was told she would never be able to have children and had ultimately given up on having kids; then when she was 42 years old she was surprised with news from the doctor that she was pregnant with me. My mom’s struggles with her fertility inspired me to help other women who may have similar issues. I am young and don’t intend on having kids for at least another 10 years, so I think that since I have the opportunity to help a family by donating my eggs, I should definitely make myself available.

If there was anything I could wish for, it would be for peace in the world. But realistically: I wish more people would be conscious of their waste and take better care of our planet.
-
What would you consider to your greatest strengths?
I am effective at handling stress, and remaining calm in complicated or urgent situations. I am a great communicator and a huge people person! I would describe myself as very kind, generous and patient. I get very excited about the little and big things. I am a very passionate person and my personality and attitude reflect that. I enjoy the little things in life, but I am definitely always thinking about the “bigger picture” and working toward my dreams! A big thing for me is maintaining a sense of peace in my environment and within myself.

My mom. She has always been there for me through every situation in my life. We don’t always see things the same way, but she has always listened and supported me despite circumstances or outlook.
-
What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
Originally, I had intended to be a Music Performance major due to my background in classical music. I decided, when I was about to begin college, that I wanted to focus more on communicating and people, so I decided to do a major in Communications. After my first semester of study abroad in France I decided that I wanted to pursue a degree in the International Workplace and to continue studies in French Language. After obtaining my French minor I just decided to keep on going for a double-major because I loved the language!

If you could tell the intended parents who are considering you one thing, what would it be?
I want the parents who will consider me to understand that I am genuinely interested in helping them with their dream of creating a family. I would have wanted someone to do the same for my mother if she had never been able to become pregnant or for myself if I were never able to have children. At this point in my life, I have the opportunity to help other people with their dream of creating a family, and I want to be able to do that if I am accepted for consideration through this agency.
