Why do you want to become an egg donor?
I have a family friend who is struggling with fertility. She is a few years older than I. Last year she asked me if I had any knowledge of the egg donation process. At that point I was unaware that it even existed. Because her and I look similar, she asked me if I would be willing to donate to her in the future. She is still trying to conceive naturally, but she opened my eyes to the idea of helping another family. I ultimately want to help her in the future if that becomes her last option, but until then I want to try to help out a different family.

Anything special you'd like to tell us about you?
If you were to ask my family or friends to describe me 9 times out of 10 the word adrenaline junkie would come up. I am an extremely outdoorsy person. I love to hike, ride dirt bikes, orb’s, and four wheelers, I enjoy kayaking, bouldering, snowboarding, bungee jumping, but most of all skydiving. I obtained my A license last summer so I can skydive solo. I am now on track to get into Base Jumping. However I also have some calmer hobbies that feed my spiritual side rather than the adrenaline. I read for at least 20 minutes every day, I practice yoga and breath work in the morning, and I meditate every night.

Who are the most important people in your life?
The most important person in my life is my dad, because he has always supported me and provided a stable base that I can build upon. The other important people in my life include my sister and my friends, which I view as family. I tend to keep my circle small because I value authentic relationships.
-
What are your special talents?
I am skilled in creative writing.
-
What is the one change you wish to see in the world?
There is one thing that I view as the main contributor to our world’s problems and that is selfishness or personal gain. To answer your question I would like to see everyone, not just people in power, be more selfless and do what is best for the majority rather than for oneself.
-
What would you consider to your greatest strengths?
My greatest strength would be not letting fear dictate my life. Everyone has fears and they often hold them back. I have become mentally disciplined to overcome those fears so they are unable to control me.
-
What is your favorite dish to consume?
My favorite food group in general would be fruits. I often consume green grapes and watermelon.
-
What is something you've accomplished in life that you are most proud of?
At age 18 I moved across the country to NYC by myself. I see this as an accomplishment because it pushed me out of my comfort zone and I was able to grow a lot as a person.

What is a book you love?
The untethered soul the journey beyond yourself by Michael A. Singer
-
How would other people describe you?
I am a very outgoing person in a group. I enjoy seeing people smile and bringing the good vibes. I am a genuine person, who tries not to judge people because everyone has their own baggage and life behind closed doors. One on one I tend to bring a calming aura that makes people feel comfortable. I am also a very good listener. Many times in life people have their own realities and narrators inside their heads waiting to say what they want to say rather than actually listening and responding to the person they are conversing with. I do my best to actually listen and respond rather than dictate where the conversation is going.

What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
I am not sure there was a true defining moment. I mean does anyone truly know what they want to be when they grow up or the right career path for them? I am someone who has a lot of interests that could take me in a lot of different directions. I decided to make a list of things that were important to me in life and then see which of my interests fit best with how I pictured my perfect life to look. Well first I wanted a job that I can get time off because I love traveling and want to see the world, second I needed a job that is different every day because I do not like the feeling of being cooped up or going through the motions, third I ultimately want to help people because we weren’t put on this earth to be selfish, and lastly I want to morally feel good about the work that I am doing. So after making this list and going through my interests I found that I have always been a guru for health, wellness, and beauty. I had never thought about making this a career, but it checked all the boxes. I intend to own my own my own business that focuses on esthetics as well as overall wellness whether that is physical, mental, or spiritual. By owning my own business I can make the blueprint so I know my customers are getting the best care, I can take time off as the business owner, and most of all I am helping people and creating connections.

If you could tell the intended parents who are considering you one thing, what would it be?
This question is a bit broad. This one thing could be about me or it could be a mere thought or even just a fact, but when I read that question one thing did immediately come to mind. I would tell them that they are doing an amazing thing. They have so much love in their hearts that they are willing to go to any length to share that with a child, and that their child will always be grateful for that love.
