Why do you want to become an egg donor?
I am at a very happy place in my life and very happy with the decision that I do not want to have kids of my own. However, I know that for some individuals, having a child is what is going to bring them that extra happiness and joy that life has to offer. I don't want to take my fertility for granted. I want to help these individual to make their dream of having a child come true.

Anything special you'd like to tell us about you?
I was born and raised in Brazil. My native language is Portuguese and I started learning English as a second language at the age of 22. I earned an A.S. in Foreign Trade Technology in Brazil and used to work as an importation assistant. I came to the US in an exchange student program called Au Pair, so I could improve my English and an importation assistant. I fell in love with America and was lucky enough to have people to support me when I decided to make this country my home. Today, America is the place I call home and where I live a successful life.

What is/was your major?
I have recently earned an A.S. in Social and Behavioral Science and an A.S. in Natural Science, with a GPA of 3.53. My goal is to become a nurse and I have applied for several nursing programs.

Are you currently working? If so where and in what capacity?
Yes, I am currently working as a Behavior Technician for kids and teenagers with autism spectrum.

Who are the most important people in your life?
My parents and my husband.

What are your special talents?
I am a fast learner and I have excellent academic skills. I am especially good at drawing and have artistic creativity.

What is the one change you wish to see in the world?
I would like to see the end of prejudice and racism in the world. I believe that a world where every individual is seen as equally capable and entitled of respect is a much better world.

What would you consider to your greatest strengths?
Ability to learn new things fast.

What is something you've accomplished in life that you are most proud of?
I am most proud of coming to the U.S. by myself at 22 years old and making this country my home.

They would describe be as a fun, happy and loving person, who is pleasant to be with and always ready to help.

Describe your own personality to us
I am extroverted, assertive, hardworking, determined, caring, fun loving, organized, calm, creative, independent, honest and compassionate. I like to care for the things that really matter in life and to make sure that I am happy and that the people that I love are happy also.

Who are you closest to in your family and why?
My parents. They are great parents and have done their best to support me in all of my endeavors. They are my best friends and the ones I want to share the good news with first.

What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
When I decided to stay in the U.S. after my Au Pair exchange program was over was a defining point in my life. I decided to change my visa for a college student visa and I had to choose a degree. I already had an A.S. in Foreign Trade Technology in Brazil, but during my Au Pair program I learned that I am passionate about people and caring for them. Since science and math were my favorite subjects in school, I decided to become a nurse.

If you could tell the intended parents who are considering you one thing, what would it be?
Dear intended parent(s), I believe that we should do everything we can to make our life beautiful. I have found beauty in my life and it is a privilege for me to be able to help you to bring a beautiful child into your life. Thank you for letting me be part of your miracle.

I would love to travel to Hawaii, and around Europe, especially Italy.

Sports/Dance/Hobbies you enjoy
I played volleyball in high school and did Judo martial arts as a teenager. I enjoyed and was very good in both. Now I enjoy going to the gym and jogging in the neighborhood. Chalk painting is my new hobby and I have painted several pieces of furniture for myself and for friends. I also enjoy cooking and creating new recipes.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?
In ten years I see myself working as a nurse practitioner, living in a comfortable house with my husband and owning a dog.
