Anything special you'd like to tell us about you?
I am one of 8 children, second to oldest. I've jumped around from school to school as a child, going from private Catholic schools to public middle schools. My mother pulled me from our local high school before I was given the chance to attend, and from 9th grade to graduation, I taught myself diligently at home, keeping my brain productive. I loved to learn new things. Specifically, science, reading, and art were my three favorite subjects. Being I was homeschooled, I was still required to take the ACT alongside children my age that attended local schools, to which I received one of the highest scores amongst my group, with the 'Reading' category being nearly perfect. With my height, I've always admired the sport of track and field and cross country. If I had been given the opportunity to experience it, I would've taken that chance in a heartbeat. I was in gymnastics and tumbling for a short been given the opportunity to experience it, I would've taken that chance in a heartbeat. I was in gymnastics and tumbling for a short period of time growing up, which I enjoyed. I also taught swimming lessons to both children and adults for 5 years in a row, while also obtaining my Red Cross CPR certification and lifeguarding for our small town public pool and church events. Other than sports, I learned to admire music. I took 3 years of acoustic guitar lessons, while progressing to study the evolution of music and dabbled with a few other instruments such as drums, bass, electric guitar, piano, and ukulele. My sister and I would stay in our rooms for hours each day writing music and playing it for my parents to hear in the living room (and Mom to record and post on Facebook, lol). I found a deep connection to music, specifically gospel and late 90's, early 2000's R&B, but I can appreciate all genres equally. In my teenage years, I was put on the worship team at a huge nondenominational church outside of my small town, specifically singing and playing guitar for the teenage youth group. Since that time, I have just been singing and playing recreationally and sometimes with friends at open- mic/karaoke nights at our local bars. I am also a huge "gym-rat" and just recently found a passion for working out and maintaining a toned and healthy lifestyle, which also led me to become recently vegan, which I LOVE!

What is the one change you wish to see in the world?
There are quite a few changes I wish to see in the world, but one that I hold dear to my heart is the act of kindness shared among everyone. I believe there is so much hate in this world and little acts of kindness can potentially make a bigger impact on the global scale than most people realize.

What would you consider to your greatest strengths?
I personally believe that my greatest strengths include, but are not limited to: 1. Discipline. I tend to think that self-discipline is one of the best ways to grow as a person and I practice it everyday. 2. Dedication. Everything I do, I put all eort in to. My parents always told me that if I truly want something in life, I will have to dedicate my time and energy to it everyday, and that's something I live by. 3. Enthusiasm. No matter the circumstance, I believe that if you take on a situation with enough enthusiasm and motivation, you will always be able to complete the task.

What is something you've accomplished in life that you are most proud of?
I've accomplished a lot in my lifetime that I know I can reflect back on and say that I am proud of myself for getting through, but as cliche as it sounds, I think the biggest accomplishment in my life was completing college with the grades I did and obtaining my B.S. in Criminal Justice, since I am the first one in my family to do so.

-
What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
I tend to think just growing up in an area of poverty and high crime rates made me grow a passion for wanting to help people who necessarily aren't given the opportunities to grow and expand outside of that zone. Also, because my mother was so nurturing, I believe that had led me to develop the same nurturing qualities and instill them in a career path that would be beneficial for others.
-

If I could tell them just one thing, it'd be how blessed I am to be able to make an impact on their lives by donating my eggs so that they can start a family of their own.
