Who are you closest to in your family and why?
We are all very close. I grew up in Ventura County and all but one of my siblings still lives there. We’re in constant communication as my twin brother does have three children of his own so it makes it very easy for us to have family events and to get together often. My parents have been divorced since I was two, but they still are able to be around each other and communicate, so I’ve luckily had both of my parents in my life pretty actively.
-
What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
I was a sophomore in high school and I had been doing dance my entire life so I decided to audition for the school play and we had a very low budget with a program that was just starting up and it sparked a passion in me to explore how we could create something out of nothing. By the time I graduated we had numerous grants and scholarships given to us, and I was able to help build the theater department from the ground up.
-
If you could tell the intended parents who are considering you one thing, what would it be?
I am somebody who is incredibly flexible and has the ability to clearly communicate and stick to my commitments. It’s one of my life joys to be able to help people so this is a transition that I would like to be as smoothly as possible for you. That would bring you the most joy that I can.
