Why do you want to become an egg donor?
I want to become an egg donor to help families bring life into the world. I know and understand the hardships of this journey and I only wish to aid those who might need an extra hand (or egg). But helping someone bring a little blessing into their family, that would probably be the most fulfilling thing I would do in my lifetime.
-
Anything special you'd like to tell us about you?

Who are the most important people in your life?
The most important people in my life are my family and friends. My parents and younger brother are very dear to me and I try to see them as much as possible. I also cherish my longterm boyfriend and his family.
-
What are your special talents?
I have always been told I am a very artsy person. I love being creative in all aspects of my life. I love art, building things, and even creative outlets like interior design. I think my true talent is being able to assemble Ikea furniture without a manual.
-
What is the one change you wish to see in the world?
I struggle with this because I think there is an infinite amount of things that could be better in today's world. I will keep it simple and say that I just wish people would be more kind to one another. I believe that many of the issues today would be solved if people were more empathetic and understanding of other people's situations.
-
What would you consider to your greatest strengths?
While I have said that I am considered a very artsy person, which would be very right-brained, I think my biggest strength would be how left-brained I can be. I am very analytical and logical in my work life. I am good with numbers and going about things in an efficient way.
-
What is your favorite dish to consume?
I would have to say that my favorite dish would be kalua pork and cabbage. It is a traditional Hawaiian dish that my mom made for me as kid. I now make it in my own home and it brings back great memories of my childhood in Hawaii.
-
What is something you've accomplished in life that you are most proud of?
I am most proud of graduating from a university as a woman in the STEM field and getting the opportunity to start my career path as a microbiologist.
-
What is a book you love?
At the moment I am loving the Game of Thrones series. I love any fantasy book that allows for a small escape from reality, complex plot line and a lot of character development.
-
How would other people describe you?
My friends would say I'm quiet at first, then goofy once you get to know me. My coworkers would say I am diligent, dedicated, and patient. My family would say I am reliable, driven and trustworthy.
-
Describe your own personality to us
I would describe myself simply as a good person. I care about other people and what they think of me (maybe too much) and I try my best at everything I do. I am an animal and outdoors lover. I do not like scary movies but I do love true crime. I try to see the good in every situation and help others see it too.
-
Books you are currently reading
I am currently reading the Game of Thrones series after just finishing all of the Harry Potter books.
-
Who are you closest to in your family and why?
I have recently gotten extremely close with my younger cousin. She is just a few years younger and we always had a 'annoying little sister' relationship until recently. She just moved close to where I live and I feel we have grown to be very close with age.
-
What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
I think I have more of a defining person than a moment. My high school senior year human anatomy teacher inspired me to go into the science field. She really believed in me and made science my favorite subject to this day.
-
If you could tell the intended parents who are considering you one thing, what would it be?
I would want to say that I think that they are really strong for going through this process. I admire their determination and I would be honored to be able be a part of their journey.
-
Places you'd love to travel
I would love to travel within Europe but honestly just anywhere that has amazing architecture and landscapes.

"If there is no struggle, there is no progress"

Where do you see yourself in ten years?
Ideally I would love to be in a career that I enjoy, living in a house with a family of my own. I especially want to look back at the last ten years and feel fulfilled.
