Who are the most important people in your life?
The most important people in my life are the amazing women in my family. I grew up in a multigenerational household in which I saw how big of an impact my great grandmother, grandma, and mother had on the family. They truly were the glue of the family. My great grandmother shared with her Italian traditions and knowledge of pasta making with my family and myself. While learning these traditions and cooking together our family grew closer. We spent hours in the kitchen laughing, telling stories, and making memories. My grandmother taught me importance of being an independent woman. She worked tirelessly for years without ever relying on a man. I saw her change brakes in the car, mow the lawn, and build a shed. Without her I would not be able to do half the chores around the house I now do. As for my mother, she gave me endless love and support. She has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life. Most recently, the death of my father. My dad passed away only a few weeks before finals week my junior year. With her love and support I was able to pass my finals and still make the deans list. These woman have shaped me into the person I am today. I will be forever grateful for them and always look up to them for guidance.

What would you consider to your greatest strengths?
I have always been told about what a great work ethic I have. Meeting deadlines while doing my best work are of utmost importance to me. Even if that means missing a few hours of sleep. When I am given a job I always give it my all. Perceptiveness is another strength of mine. Picking up on changes in people’s emotions by noticing body language and facial expressions has always been a natural ability of mine. I believe this is a great strength because I can act upon situations and make a better outcome than what it would have been.

What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
I was drawn to psychology after taking a college level course while in high school. While taking this course I never had been so intrigued. I fell in love with the major theories in the field. I felt a need to learn more so I decided a psychology major would be the best fit. During my freshman year in college I started taking counseling courses in which I grew an even deeper love for. I have learned how family dynamics, family order, and so many other factors shape a person into who they are. I’ve read and listened to horror stories that people have been through and the steps they had to take in order to recover from the trauma. Ever since I have a strong desire and passion to be the one that helps those people.

If you could tell the intended parents who are considering you one thing, what would it be?
Being that you are here reading this I already know what great parents you will be. I can imagine that this may feel like a long journey and maybe even a stressful one. But, one thing I do know is that children are truly a gift. Even though I am not a mother myself I have seen the joy children bring into people’s lives. I have also witnessed the unconditional love a parent has for their child. It is a bond is that unbreakable. So I assure you this journey with be worth every bump in the road. I hope to be the one that one that takes this journey with you. It means everything to me to be able to make your dream come true.
