Why do you want to become an egg donor?
I have always been interested in helping others and have even continued pursuing that with my career choice. Becoming an egg donor for those who are unable to conceive and who would be amazing parents would be one of the best ways that I could do that.

Anything special you'd like to tell us about you?
In High School I played varsity in volleyball, soccer, basketball, cheerleading, and softball. I was Captain in volleyball and softball, and MVP in volleyball. I also played volleyball in college.

Who are the most important people in your life?
The most important people in my life are my parents. They have taught me the benefits of hard work and dedication in everything that I do, and that it’s important to treat everybody with kindness.

What are your special talents?
I have always been involved in community volunteering. I enjoy working with special-needs groups, and, as a Sign Language Interpreting Major, I communicate well with the Deaf community. I have always been very involved in athletics, playing softball, soccer, basketball, cheerleading, and continuing my volleyball career in college. My Mom was my Music Teacher and I’ve always been very involved in Music. I enjoy singing, playing piano, bass clarinet, and ukulele. I played in the Indiana-Honors Band and now sing in my College Women’s Choir.

What is the one change you wish to see in the world?
I wish that people would notice the impact they have on our planet. The continued use of one use plastics and the constant littering is hurting our planet at a rapid pace. I wish that people would think of these consequences before they continue with their actions.

What would you consider to your greatest strengths?
I am a very caring and compassionate person and I’m always willing to help out whenever anyone is in need

What is your favorite dish to consume?
My favorite dish to consume is homemade chicken and noodles with mashed potatoes

What is something you've accomplished in life that you are most proud of?
One of my accomplishments that I am most proud of was receiving Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year my senior year of High School. I worked very hard in all of the sports that I played, and tried to be a leader on and off the court. Receiving this award made me very proud and I was glad that I could be represented as a role model to the other younger athletes.

My favorite book is a trilogy called Graceling

How would other people describe you?
I have always been told that I am a very kind person and that I am very reliable

I have a very caring and open personality. I put others before me and try to be a kind person.

I am currently reading The Handmaids Tale and Blink

Who are you closest to in your family and why?
I am closest with my mother because she is most similar to me. We enjoy going to musicals together, and volunteering at our local services.

What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
The most defining moment for my decision was in High School, they started offering American Sign Language my junior year and we had two Deaf students in our class with us. Being able to learn how to sign and to finally be able to communicate with them was the best feeling that I’ve ever experienced.

If you could tell the intended parents who are considering you one thing, what would it be?
If I could tell them one thing it would be that I’m grateful that I am given the opportunity to do this for them.

Places you'd love to travel
I would love to travel to Australia to see the Great Barrier Reef, and plan to travel to Norway next summer to visit my best friend who was a foreign exchange student my senior year. I would also like to visit Scotland to meet some of my distant family members who live there.

What are your favorite words to live by?
My favorite words to live by are “think happy be happy” because I truly do think that having a positive outlook on life can change your whole mentality.

Sports/Dance/Hobbies you enjoy
I played volleyball, soccer, basketball, cheerleading, and softball in high school. I was also involved in band and choir, and I’m now a part of the Goshen College Women’s Choir. My hobbies include kayaking, yoga, singing, fishing, watching baseball, etc.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?
In ten years I see myself working in an educational setting interpreting for Deaf students. I also hope to have a family of my own and possibly living somewhere warm with lots of animals!
