Why do you want to become an egg donor?
I would like to become an egg donor to provide an opportunity for a family. I have first handedly seen the magic that can come from this process in close friends of mine. It is a beautiful thing for an individual, couple, or family to be able to hand-pick an egg donor that matches their values and vision. I believe I would be a unique and great match for individuals looking to add on to their family.

Who are the most important people in your life?
My fiance is my rock. He is gentle, joyous, and everything I could have wanted and more. I have a small group of girls who have been the witnesses of my life. They are my support team. My mentor, who taught me the importance of advocating for myself and others. My mom, dad, sister, and brother who have cheered me on every step of the way. And my fiances family, who has made me their own.

What are your special talents?
I can touch my tongue to my nose. More importantly, I also make some really good guacamole. I was also blessed to be born into an athletic body that has stayed strong through years of soccer, yoga, marathon running, and even a short career in high school wrestling. I am creative-brained. Since a child, I have been a natural at creating new things whether it is poetry, DIY projects, or art.

What is the one change you wish to see in the world?
One change I wish to see in this world is collective empathy. I wish that people would put themselves in other people's shoes rather than isolating themselves in close-minded views. A more empathic world is a kinder world.
-
What would you consider to your greatest strengths?
My biggest strength is how deeply I feel my emotions. I care deeply about people and I hold a lot of empathy for others. Although this caused me to learn the hard way growing up on how to set boundaries and not let people take advantage of me, I have worked very hard to understand, harness, and channel my heart for others. Egg donation is one of the ways I get to share my love for other people.
-
What is your favorite dish to consume?
My favorite food is a spicy salmon roll!
-
What is something you've accomplished in life that you are most proud of?
I am most proud of my accomplishment of running a marathon. It took months of training, dedication, and painstaking runs through the rainy cold Pacific Northwest. However, what I am really proud of is the process. Yes, I also am proud of the 26.2 miles I can check off and say that I ran but what meant the most to me was the commitment I made to myself and kept. On many of my long runs, I would spend time in my head exploring topics that were difficult for me and working on my mental health. I am very proud of running a marathon but I am more proud of what crossing the finish line symbolized for me.

What is a book you love?
My all-time favorite book is Untamed by Glennon Doyle as she teaches women to be the truest, most authentic version of themselves.
-
How would other people describe you?
Although I believe that my coworkers, my family, and my closest friends all see a variety of sides of me, in collective I have been described as a leader, a jokester, a good listener, an energetic body, a go-getter, a kind soul, and as someone who will always show up for you.

Describe your own personality to us
I believe that different parts of my personality shine brighter than others depending on the environment I am in. I have a part of my personality that can be very fun-loving, energetic, playful, and humorous. I have a part of my personality is very focused, dedicated, professional, and high achieving. I have a part of my personality that loves to stay at home all day watching Grey's Anatomy and a part that could out with friends laughing the night away (depending on the day). The traits of my personality that are constant are my love and care for other people, my open-mindedness, my fun-loving nature, my authenticity, and my optimism.

Who are you closest to in your family and why?
I am closest to my older sister, Maddie. We grew up connected at the hip, alternating between hating each other and being inseparable- as siblings do. She is loving, kind, brilliant, hilarious, and my role model.

What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
I exited my undergraduate program with a psychology degree and a clear plan of what I wanted to do. Spoiler alert: it did not work out. I knew I wanted to work with neurodivergent (ADHD and Autism) individuals and I began a job as a Registered Behavioral Technician at a local school for children with autism. I realized quickly that behavioral changes, although essential, felt temporary and forced. I felt stuck and burnout. This feeling motivated me to seek answers on how I could help these individuals I cared about so deeply. Through research and book reading I found that at my core what I really wanted to do was to help people become the person they wanted to be- not the person other people wanted them to be. This is how I began my journey towards discovering and falling in love with the art of therapy. It allows creativity, relationships, expression of emotions, care, safe spaces, opportunity for self-growth, and real lasting change. I am now a mental health therapist who works with adults with neurodivergence as well as a variety of other populations and topics such as trauma, confidence, body image, LGBTQIA+ communities, anxiety, and all of the other areas that come with being a human.

If you could tell the intended parents who are considering you one thing, what would it be?
Follow your intuition. The child that is meant for you will be for you. At the end of the day, us egg donors are so excited to provide you with an opportunity to create your family. Your child, no matter from which egg, is going to be so loved by you, shaped by you, and a perfect unique combination that will be yours.
