Why do you want to become an egg donor?
My purpose in life has always been to help people. It’s why I do what I do with the intention to make people feel a little better about themselves and help in anyway I can. We are here to lift each other up. Life is hard enough is with the constant external stressors and I have seen so many of my close family and friends struggle to bring a beautiful life or lives into this world and I would love nothing more than to assist others in their journey. I am healthy, young, and have the ability to help couples fulfill their dreams and that’s what life is all about! If I can be a part of life’s greatest gifts and give people hope and happiness, I am doing what I am here to do.

Anything special you'd like to tell us about you?
I am a creative, fun loving, bubbly, optimistic young woman who loves nothing more than seeing people filled with joy. I’d like to say I look at life with the glass half full mentality. I am a hard worker, detail oriented and organized. I have been raised by incredible parents who have taught me to be independent and work for what I want and need in life. To be able to give future parents that joy of raising their own children to go out and do great things would be an absolute honor. I live each day filled with gratitude for the ability to get up and move each day, another chance at life to do whatever makes me happy. I love all things outdoors related and put my health first. I’m very active and enjoy things like boxing, yoga, and walking in the neighborhood or by the beach! I am passionate about art and music. I am most happy when I am with my friends and family connecting on a deeper level and just being present with them. I have done an incredible amount of self work in the last 4 years and I am truly in love with the little life I have created for myself. I am a go getter, resilient, and generous person. I love planning trips and activities for myself and my loved ones! Community is everything to me and I’ve been lucky enough to be supported by amazing people in my life.

I love trying new things inside and out of my career wheel house. This comes with being a creative, I am constantly inspired! I love my connection to my clients and the joy I get to bring them I have always had a love for psychology so for me, this job was a great mix of art and psychology in one. I’ve had an immense amount of success and I’m very proud of the life I’ve created in my field. Boosting people’s confidence, making them feel heard and understood, and being a supportive part in their style or their personal look is why I do what I do!

Who are the most important people in your life?
My family. They are my rock. No matter how much we can all annoy each other, they are there for me any time of day. They have been a constant support and rock in my life. I wouldn’t be who I am today without their presence. We are all very close and want nothing but the best for each of us. My mentors in my career have also played a major part in molding who I am as a person, not just in the work field. And lastly my friends. Wow, they have become family more than they are friends. They are the ones that keep me going when days get tough, they are the ones who make me laugh til I cry, and hold space for me when I need to actually cry. All of these influences have made me who I am today.
-
What are your special talents?
Creatively talented, can draw and paint pretty much anything I see. I am a dancer and love nothing more than getting lost in music and dancing in a class or just in my living room. I am known to be an old soul full of wisdom and usually always giving advice and a listening ear to the ones closest to me. I am usually pretty good at most sports, grew up with an athletic background and somethings just come naturally to me. I give some of the best hugs. I get things done and I have a curiosity to try most things that peak my interest! I have dabbled in a good bit of side hobbies and have always had some connection to customer service related jobs, I think it’s made me a better person overall.

What is the one change you wish to see in the world?
I’d love to see the importance of community and 3rd spaces be a requirement. We are humans and humans seek other human connection. As technology advances I fear we are loosing the connection to the basic human needs. Support and community is what can create beautiful things in life. If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together. 3rd spaces are also a way to connect without the need to go spend money at a bar or restaurant. Gives you the chance to connect and decompress with people in a nature setting and gets you outside. Some cities do have them but most bigger cities don’t utilize them enough or they are overrun by homeless, I’d love to see some more 3rd space options come up in cities to really bring together people and connect outside our jobs and entertainment.

What would you consider to your greatest strengths?
I’d say my greatest strengths are my optimism, determination, and courage. I rarely let things bother me. Not to be said that things don’t bother me, but I have learned to let go of things I cannot control. Whatever is meant for me, will happen, but I also believe there comes a lot of work on the back end to achieve these things. I can only be as great as I can today and hopefully a little better than yesterday. I am here to live a fulfilling life and share my gifts with others. I spread light and love.

What is your favorite dish to consume?
So hard! Ah I love food, I grew up in New Orleans so food is such a cultural experience. I’d say my current favorites are a fresh pasta dish or a Mediterranean spread with a colorful plate of vegetables and all the fixings. I also love a good pot roast, something about it just feels like your family is giving you a big hug.
-
What is something you've accomplished in life that you are most proud of?
Moving to California. Born and raised in New Orleans, I moved 3 years ago and it’s been the absolute best decision of my life. The act of moving and putting myself in a new environment has led me to things I never thought I’d accomplish in my life or my career. I’ve done hair for red carpets, press, magazine covers, e commerce, and every award show, all within the first 2 years of being in LA. I still have to pinch myself my I say that! It’s been an absolute dream seeing my career goals come to fruition.
-
What is a book you love?
Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert (gave me the nudge to do hair full time and take the leap to run my own business) and The Alchemist- a great well rounded life lessons book and just a sweet story!

Who are you closest to in your family and why?
My sister and my mom. Oh what a joy it is to have such incredibly supportive women in my life! To have them is such a blessing. I don’t go more than a couple days without talking to them. They just get me. And I get them. We get each other. It is such an incredible bond. They are my biggest cheerleaders as I am their’s! Would not be who I am without them.
-
What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
My defining moment was the fact I could be so multifaceted and create a place where people feel comfortable, confident, and understood. I work to always give my clients what they need and want, but I also take value in taking care of people. I love being able to create and be a supportive person in my clients lives.

If you could tell the intended parents who are considering you one thing, what would it be?
I know this journey has been a tough one for you, I know things may not be the way you always dreamed of them being, but sometimes in life things unfold in odd ways, I am here to make the odd things seem a little more attainable. I have said over and over again my love for people and being helpful and that is because it’s the core of who I am. I would love nothing more than to give you guys a little hope and ease in this process of becoming parents. It’s a true miracle to have the technology we have today to make a “cannot” into a “can”. We can’t enjoy the rainbow without the rain; so I’d love to be a little rainbow in some of your rain.
-
Places you'd love to travel
Switzerland, Australia, Asia! But truly anywhere, I love traveling and getting into new cultures.
-
What are your favorite words to live by?
The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you’ve got to put up with the rain. Also, “if you don’t ask, you don’t get” most people are afraid to ask for what they want and that fear is the only thing between achieving what they want.
-
Sports/Dance/Hobbies you enjoy
Beach Volleyball, Dancing- any type (grew up dancing), Running, Boxing, Yoga, Painting, Creating new things, Pottery, and Travel Planning.
-
Where do you see yourself in ten years?
I see myself surrounded by the people I love, creating a long life with a partner and grateful for the life I get to live each day. Well traveled and educated. Hopefully still trying new things and expanding my knowledge and career. I want to own something whether it’s property or the salon of my dreams. I am destined for big things and I can’t wait to see what keeps unfolding.
