Why do you want to become an egg donor?
As I get older I have had more friends and family members who are experiencing fertility issues. I feel that fertility, whether it’s difficulty to conceive, finding a surrogate to help you out, or whatever the case may be, is something that should be normalized and spoken about more. Opportunities like this are opportunities to make families and make dreams come true- literally!- and I’m really humbled and honored by the idea of taking even the smallest role in that process.

Who are the most important people in your life?
My significant other, who is also my best friend. We’ve experienced so much in our lives together and he’s someone that always supports me and makes me laugh. I feel truly lucky to have him in my life. My family is essential, especially given pandemic craziness where I’ve really learned the value of being present even if there’s limits on being physically present. Lastly, my girlfriends- life has blessed me with some wonderful women that being me joy and build me up. Maintaining those relationships holds so much value to me.

What are your special talents?
I would consider myself to be very intuitive and in touch with people and their emotions. I’m the person who will listen to your story when everyone else is talking over you and make sure you know you’re being heard. Interest wise, I love cooking and trying out new recipes. It’s really meaningful for me to try my best to make a meal that’s enjoyable in process and outcome. I’m also really drawn to designs and colors and love organizing my spaces and making them feel cozy and warm.
-
What is the one change you wish to see in the world?
Our tolerance for others. It can be hard for me to understand the hate and prejudice that some people carry for others and I wish that this could be made different.
-
What would you consider to your greatest strengths?
I touched upon this briefly but I feel that I am very empathetic and a good listener. I try to see other people’s perspectives and meet them where they’re at. I also love to make others laugh and consider my sense of humor and ability to lighten situations a great strength. A lot of what I value both personally and professionally is the service of others, but I would also say my ability to maintain my own sense of self and boundaries for self care as well is something I’m very proud of too.
-
What is your favorite dish to consume?
Macaroni and cheese
-
What is something you've accomplished in life that you are most proud of?
Leaving a troubled relationship. I was in college and was with a boyfriend who did not respect me or my feelings. I was heartbroken at first when the relationship ended, but it taught me so many invaluable lessons about myself, my personal boundaries and what I’m willing to tolerate from another person.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?
I would like to have obtained my clinical social work license and continue practicing therapy, maybe start my own practice in a specialized niche! I used to work with amputees and really miss this population. Personally, I hope to be going strong with my partner, living somewhere we love and continuing to be happy.
