Why do you want to become an egg donor?
I have an aunt who struggles with infertility and a brother who is gay. I have intimately seen people I love and care for struggle with the idea of being parents and what that means when they are someone who can't take the traditional route. To honor both of them and their experiences, I would love to participate in this cycle. Whether or not they end up using an egg donor, I can help provide for someone else's aunt or brother when creating their family.

What is something you've accomplished in life that you are most proud of?
My mom and I published a children's book when I was 19 years old. My mom is a clinical psychologist who focuses on divorce and she wanted to make a resource that was specific to young children. My uncle was going through a divorce at the same time. It was a very special and fun project that we worked on together. I also had a solo art show in 2020 that had 100 drawings I did. I was really proud of that body of work.

Who are you closest to in your family and why?
I am closest to my sister. We always shared a room growing up but were very different and the age gap was really obvious. During Covid and during a particularly painful breakup I was going through we became inseparable. Because we grew up together, I feel like we can really understand and appreciate all the slight nuances to each other's personalities. Now our differences work really well and we fill in each other's gaps. We are each other's number one supporter, and I genuinely always the best time with her regardless of what we are doing. She's also the funniest person I know.
-
What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
I had always loved drawing and creating growing up, but it wasn't until I look my first art class in community college when I was 16 that I realized I actually had some talent and it was an actual field of study and career path I could take.
-
If you could tell the intended parents who are considering you one thing, what would it be?
I grew up in a house where honesty, kindness, and individuality were valued over everything else. Education and success was definitely important but not at the expense of the person you are. I would say that who I am is very representative of that mindset. That regardless of who you are or what is important to you, that it is done authentically and honestly.
