Why do you want to become an egg donor?
What interests me the most in being an egg donor is the profound opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of intended parents who are struggling to have children. Witnessing the challenges my own brother and his wife faced during their IVF journey, including a heartbreaking miscarriage, has deeply resonated with me. I saw firsthand the rollercoaster of emotions they experienced. This personal connection fuels my desire to help others overcome similar hardships. It showed me the significance of each step in the fertility process and underscored the incredible impact that donor eggs can have in turning someone's dream of parenthood into reality. As someone who cherishes kindness, love, and gentleness in all interactions, the opportunity to help intended parents achieve their dream of having a child resonates deeply with my values. By becoming an egg donor, I see it as my way as contributing to the world and creating a meaningful legacy of compassion of love. All in all, being an egg donor isn't just a medical or biological process to me. It is truly an opportunity to be a part of something truly meaningful, impactful, and beautiful during my time in this world.

Anything special you'd like to tell us about you?
I grew up loving writing and enjoyed writing short stories since I was a child. I wrote for the town newspaper for three years in high school as well as an online magazine those same three years. I took my first college English literature and writing class for two semesters my senior year in high school. My dad has published multiple books, is a retired English literature professor, and has worked in editing and publishing my whole life so my love from writing really came from him. I have so many journals that I have kept from childhood that I love to look back on for nostalgic purposes. Writing has held such a special place in my soul throughout my childhood and now being an adult I still hold it close to my heart.

Who are the most important people in your life?
The most important people in my life are my dad, my mom, my sister, my brother, and my boyfriend. These are the people who make my world go round. I wake up everyday looking forward to life because I have their support, wise words, and hilarious banter. If I need help with something I know I can rely on any of them to pick up the phone and help me. Although I do not live close to my family we have stayed close to each other and I really appreciate that. They only one text or phone call away. They make time for me and I will always make time for them. I'm very much a family person!

What are your special talents?
One of my special talents is I love to sew. I taught myself how to sew in high school and now I really enjoy making new pieces of clothing that I come up with.I'm also a great writer, which really helped through get through those grueling college essays in university. I spent many days after school just coming home to write down all my ideas. My night time routine when I was younger involved journaling about my day and then writing in my story notebook where I would write all my ideas and drafts for my book. Before going to sleep I used to always come up with hundreds of different stories in my head and I would jot them down the next day when I would wake up. I don't write as often as I used to but I still like to journal everyday and write morning pages which include any thoughts and ideas that come to my head. I also loved music growing up! I played the violin for about 4-5 years from the time I was about five years old and then throughout my childhood off and on until I was twelve or thirteen. I loved dressing up for my concerts and being a part of the concert band, that brings back so many memories. In junior high and high school I learned how to play the clarinet and become part of the concert band and marching band for my school. I had so much fun playing for the school, entering myself in music contests, and being on the football field during marching season. We would travel to different cities to play and enter contests, I will always remember those days so fondly. Photography is also one of my favorite art forms. My parents bought me a camera when I was 13 and from there I knew I wanted to do photography. I enjoyed taking pictures, creating photoshoots, and editing. I now am able to use this skill for my businesses and I still use the same camera to this day! Creating content, coming up with video/photo ideas, and editing is so enjoyable for me.

What is the one change you wish to see in the world?
One change I wish to see in the world is a greater emphasis on empathy and understanding. I envision a world where people genuinely connect with one another with no judgement and under no conditions. I imagine a society where people engage in conversations and interactions without preconceived notions, where diverse perspectives are met with curiosity rather than bias. By seeing each other as fellow human beings, we can dismantle barriers, dispel misconceptions, and build understanding. That would be a world in which our shared struggles and aspirations serve as common ground rather than division. This change would foster a sense of unity that holds the potential to transform societies and promote collective progress. If only we could all see each other as human beings rather than our looks, money, and ideas then we would be able to create a well rounded community where we could all thrive.

What is something you've accomplished in life that you are most proud of?
One of the achievements that truly fills me with pride is our vintage business. We've curated a collection of one of a kind pieces that resonate with our clientele. This venture not only reflects out shared passion for fashion but also our ability to turn our creative vision into a business. From my mom taking me to thrift shops as child to now being able to be a part of the fashion world has been so much fun. The joy I get from meeting others through my business warms my heart each and everyday. I'm also a great writer, which really helped through get through those grueling college essays in university. I used to come up with so many short stories when I was younger. I spent many days after school just coming home to write down all my ideas. What is a book you love?
My favorite book of all time is Dracula by Bram Stoker because of it's beautiful gothic setting in victorian London and the eerily suspenseful plot exploring immortality and mortality. I will always remember reading Dracula as a kid and being so in awe of it all. It's really nostalgic for me!

Others would likely describe me as a calm and composed individual who embraces life's adventures with positivity. They might say that I am family-oriented and enjoy spending time with others. They may also say I'm more on the quiet side and do also like my alone time here and there. I may also be quiet but I also know how to joke around with others. Who are you closest to in your family and why?
I am closest to my dad. He came to American when he was 17. He attended NYU only a few weeks after moving from Colombia. Years later he graduated and then he received his PhD. He inspires me everyday to follow my dreams. He is brave and has always known what he wanted in life. He is also one of the most hilarious people I know. He can make any tense situation into an easy going one with just his humor. He enjoys making people laugh and also helping people in need when he is able to. He would quite literally give the shirt off his back to someone in need. My dad sees the good in everyone and does not believe in judgement. He is selfless and giving in ever aspect of his life. I've truly never met someone as hardworking, generous, and compassionate as my dad and I am grateful everyday for him. He would truly do anything for his family.

What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
As a kid I was a total creative whirlwind. I loved expressing myself through my clothes and outfits throughout my childhood. I loved creating clothes for my barbies when I was little. I would cut up fabric and use sewing glue to make dresses and shirts for my dolls. My parents would buy me fashion art books every Christmas and eventually in junior high my mom gifted me a sewing machine for my birthday. From there I learned to sew and never stopped. I still enjoy creating new pieces of clothing and I use my sewing skills for many projects that come up in my work life. I enjoy doing alterations and taking old pieces of clothing from the thrift store and turning them into something brand new. I sell many of my items that I create as part of my brand. It brings me so much joy to do something that I was so passionate about as a little girl. It's truly a dream come true. Never would I have thought as a little girl I would be able to have a career in fashion.

If you could tell the intended parents who are considering you one thing, what would it be?
I want to express how honored and privileged I feel to be part of this significant moment in your lives if you chose to do so. The decision to donate my eggs is one that I've thought about with careful consideration, and it's a decision that I hold close to my heart. I understand the challenges you may have faced on your path to this point and it is my hope that my contribution can make that journey a little smoother. My brother's wife has had trouble having kids due to an auto-immunity she has. I have seen how devastating her process of conceiving has been for her and I have been supporting them every step of the way. Donating my eggs has become so much more important to me since then. As you await the future with hope and excitement, please know that you are not alone. I am fully committed to seeing this journey through and I hope for a beautiful conclusion. My thoughts are with you as you look forward to the possibilities that lie ahead and I am sending you all the positivity and strength in the world.

Places you'd love to travel
If I had the chance to travel to just one place in the world it would undoubtedly be Italy, a country that holds a special place in my heart. The memories of my previous trip there are so important to me. During my junior year of high school I had the incredible opportunity to explore the beauty of Capri, an island off the coast of Italy. The island was like a scene out of a movie. The beach there was so colorful and rich. The water was a clear blue. I had never seen an ocean so clear in my life. It was absolutely magical. One of the most special experiences was a boat ride I took with my boyfriend off the coast. We were on the boat with our friends from school and the tour guide took us under the Faraglioni rocks which she had told us at the time held a special tradition. Going under the rocks she told us there was a tradition to kiss and then that kiss would then lead to marriage and everlasting love. I guess the tradition was real and I'm still with my boyfriend to this day after 8 years. Capri is such a special place to me for that reason. I also love it's natural beauty. There I saw my first octopus swimming in the water.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?
My goals in life are to continuously grow as a person emotionally, create meaningful connections with others, and make a positive impact on the world around me little by little. I of course also aspire to pursue my passions, contribute to causes I care about, and build a life filled with purpose and true fulfillment. However first I genuinely enjoying working on myself, cultivating gratitude for my life, and enjoying the world around me. I enjoy learning more about the psychology behind emotional intelligence and how to be the best I can be as a friend, daughter, girlfriend, and human being. I also enjoy learning about the sociological aspects of the world and what I can do to make a positive contribution in society and do my part. Professionally I am working towards growing my clothing businesses with my partner and I am enjoying building the community that we have created who love to buy, use, and recycle clothing so they don't go to waste. I also am having fun scaling my content creation business and learning more about the marketing world in a professional sense. I want to make sure my friends and family are all happy as best as I can. My boyfriend and I also plan on getting married sometime in the future as we have been together for almost 8 years now. Our dream is to be able to travel the world and learn about other cultures, which is really what we both love doing. We love exploring nature and seeing new things. We also love the fashion world so we hope to continue to be a part of that. I also would love to own a house one day so we can foster animals. I grew up fostering animals so I would really love to be able to help in that way again.
