Describe your own personality to us
I think I am an all around well rounded young woman. I am always ready for a challenge, and I never back down when times get tough. I am always there to help anybody who needs it, and I love giving back to my loved ones and the less fortunate. I love learning and I usually always the first one to come up with a witty joke or remark when the opportunity presents itself. I am typically always smiling and laughing, and I can always find the best of times in bad situations.

What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
I have always had a passion for animals. Yet, I think the defining moment was when I was a veterinary Assistant at the river ridge pet clinic in burnsville, MN. I went to work for the second time that week, and I had to assist in a euthanasia. I had never done this before and to be honest I didn't know how to feel about it. But when the patient got there they were just dropped off with nobody there to be with them as they passed on, and no ashes to be remembered by. I could see the panic and worry in their eyes and it just broke my heart that their last moments could have been these sad traumatic sensations. So, as the sedative was taking affect before we Administered the euthasol, I grabbed their paw and told them everything was going to be okay because I am here for them. Immediately, after I told them this they began to relax in a sort of way that they knew that everything was going to be okay. Even their eyes showed to me that they felt safe with me, and I was by their side until their last breathe. It was at that moment that I felt the responsibility to make sure that every animal, no matter how long or short they have to live feels safe and loved and secure. Also, that everything is going to be okay.

If you could tell the intended parents who are considering you one thing, what would it be?
I would say to them that if they want to have a great kid that has a huge heart, and maybe at times could be a bit strong headed, there will always be the passion, drive, and persistent nature instilled in them. They will grow up to do great things and they touch the lives of everybody and everything they meet.
