Why do you want to become an egg donor?
I want to help others who are unable to have children and bring them that part of happiness in their lives.

Something special I would like to tell about myself is that even though I can be a social butterfly, I also enjoy and appreciate my independence.

Clinical Psychology

Are you currently working? If so where and in what capacity?
Currently I am a full time masters student at Barry University. During the summer I have worked as an ocean rescue lifeguard, as well as a waitress.

Who are the most important people in your life?
The most important people in my life are my mother and two younger sisters. Even though I’m states away from them now, I talk to them almost every day and am closest to them.

What are your special talents?
I don’t think I per se have anything that I can do that’s super cool. However, I think special talents differ from person to person. I believe that my ability to give advice to friends and family, and also my resilience and tasks, are talents special to me.

What is the one change you wish to see in the world?
A change that I would not only like to see in the world, but to also make, would be more accessible counseling to children and youth.

What would you consider to your greatest strengths?
My greatest strengths would be resilience, independence, hardworking, and caring. I feel at times it can be hard to outline your strengths in a few words, but as I have gotten older I have learned to be proud of each strength I have and to wear it with pride.

What is your favorite dish to consume?
One of my favorite dishes, (even though quite simple) is anything pasta or pizza. It may seem strange but they are my two favorite comfort foods at any given time!

What is something you've accomplished in life that you are most proud of?
Something that I am proud to have accomplished is how I worked hard through high school to not only skip my sophomore year, but to also graduate from George Washington University at 19. It’s something that keeps me motivated and proud of myself.

What is a book you love?
A book that I’ve returned to even now in my adult years is the Harry Potter series as a whole. It takes me back to third grade when I would fly through them and be completely transported into another world. I feel like reading them every so often heals my inner child!

How would other people describe you?
Other people would describe me as confident but caring, and independent but outgoing.

Describe your own personality to us
I believe that I show my personality to most people that I meet. I am warm and kind to others and believe that I’m witty and fun to be around.

A few books I am currently reading are: “The courage to be disliked”, and “Thinking fast and slow”

Who are you closest to in your family and why?
As I said above, I think the closest people in my life are my mother and my sister. I spend a lot of time with them and talking to them regularly. They mean a lot to me and I mean equally as much to them.

What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
The defining moment in my field of study that made me choose my career path, was seeing the lack of therapists for not only adults but for children as well in my small town on the Outer Banks. I want to make therapy not only accessible but financially accessible for all walks of life and ages.

If you could tell the intended parents who are considering you one thing, what would it be?
If I could only tell the intended parents one thing I would say that I am excited to be able to help you in this journey in the next part of your life. Having children is such a blessing and I’m happy to be a part of that.

Places you'd love to travel
I love to travel and some of my best memories was from my travel experiences. One day I want to travel to Bali and Europe. Two very different places, but definitely two places I would love to see.

Show empathy and love to everyone you meet.

Sports/Dance/Hobbies you enjoy
Besides reading, I enjoy swimming and baking! My sisters and I bake pretty often for my family. In my free time at Barry University, I also enjoy volunteering occasionally.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?
In ten years I hope to see myself as a successful clinical psychologist who works with children who have suffered hardships in their lives.
