Why do you want to become an egg donor?
I really want to help people live their dream of having children even though I do not want that for myself. I think those who wish to expand their families are awesome! And if I am able to help them by donating something that would otherwise be unused, then I gladly will.

Who are the most important people in your life?
The most important people in my life would be my Oma, grandma, sister, mom & dad, and best friend. All of these people have taught me so many different things in life and allowed me to be the person I am today. They have also given immense support throughout the many challenges life can throw at you and I couldn't ask for a better support system. And although my mom couldn't stick around for long, honoring her memory gives me the strength and inspiration I use daily.
-
What are your special talents?
I skateboard and love film photography. I can also play the piano and play music by ear. I also speak Dutch!
-
What is the one change you wish to see in the world?
I wish to see more empathy and compassion. I feel like people have slowed down on looking out for one another and I would like to see a change in that. I strive everyday to show kindness to those around me in hopes that it spreads to others too.
-
What would you consider to your greatest strengths?
My greatest strengths are probably my ability to talk to just about anybody. I truly am a people person and I love hearing what those have to say from all different backgrounds. My ability to mediate has come in handy quite a few times both in my personal and professional life; and I feel as though that comes so easily because of my ability to talk to people. Another strength of mine would be my creativity. I am always thinking of different shoots I would like to do whether it be photography or film. Whenever I'm walking around my eyes turn into camera lenses and I try to document my memories in a meaningful way that appeals to my creative side.
-
What is your favorite dish to consume?
My favorite dish to consume is without a doubt massaman curry filled with loads of veggies (preferably with a coconut milk Thai tea on the side)
-
What is something you've accomplished in life that you are most proud of?
My most proud accomplishment is probably the mentorship I completed with one of my favorite photographers. I flew to LA to shoot with her and it definitely got me out of my comfort zone and opened up my eyes to so many different possibilities with a camera. It was a wonderful experience and I was blown away by how much I learned and the shots I got!
-
What is a book you love?
I am really into the horror/thriller genre, and right now I'm reading The Institute by Stephen King and cannot put it down!
-
How would other people describe you?
I feel like other people would describe me as a clever, funny, do it yourself woman. Whether it be planning a trip or doing home improvements, I am certainly going to DIY before bringing others into the equation and I'm willing to help anyone else to the same without a second thought.
-
Describe your own personality to us
I am definitely quick witted and not very serious. I like to keep life fun and funny. I am a natural caregiver and the last one to sit at the table, only after insuring everyone else has been taken care of. I am there for anyone who needs me at the drop of a hat.

Books you are currently reading
The Institute by Stephen King as well as Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer

Who are you closest to in your family and why?
I would say I was closest with my Oma until she passed. I was her full time caregiver up until her time. I know she would have done the same for me. She was a Dutch immigrant and single mother to my dad and uncle and honestly just an inspiration to me. I could talk to her about anything and she would listen. She offered me advice when I needed it and similarly a joke if I needed that too. I think I get my independence from her.

What was the defining moment that made you choose your field of study/career path?
I am a bartender because that's just where life dropped me. I love making drinks for people outside of what they would usually order and seeing them love that first sip! As for my schooling, I have always wanted to get more into the film industry as a photographer and amateur videographer as well. And going to school isn't exactly necessary for this career path but is super helpful when it comes to connections and access to equipment I would otherwise not have access to.
-
If you could tell the intended parents who are considering you one thing, what would it be?
I'm down to earth, funny, creative, and most importantly kind. I would love to pass that onto your beautiful, growing family.
